My Shed Plans Review
I asked my friend for my shed plans review and what I got in reply was most encouraging. You see, I am this computer geek, who did not know which side of the nail to hammer on.
Well, this might sound like a bit of exaggeration, but I was more or less close to that state of ignorance where carpentry and shed making were concerned.
Today, I am in an exalted person. I have not only made my own shed, but I have climbed to the position of advisor when it comes to making sheds.
Before you start jumping to any kind of conclusions, let me first tell you that I can specialize only in sheds that can be used for storing garden equipment or implements.
There is no way I can give you advice on how to make a shed that could house a few chickens, for instance. This would be truly out of my league and I do not want to bite off more than I could possibly chew.
Before I even attempted to build a shed, I realized that I need to have a good plan in place. I needed to be sure of the following points before even getting my tools together:
1. A thorough understanding of the location of the shed is important, before planning something. This is because, you need to know what kind of ground and soil the shed is going to rest on.
If, for instance, the soil is not very hard and is on the contrary quite sandy, you would have to go in for a much stronger foundation that will be able to withstand any kind of weather changes.
2. I took the basic material into consideration before planning, to ensure that my shed plans review would be good. If the material to be used is wood, then the plan has to be such that it supports this material.
The plans would be different, if you were to use old and recycled material. Yet again, there would be a change if the material was fiber glass, either colored or opaque.
3. Since the shed is going to be used for the storage of garden material, it is important to make the right kind of provision for hanging up trowels, spades and all other kinds of implements that one would require in a garden.
4. Once again, my shed plans review was good because I ensured that there was enough natural light within the shed. In case there was a necessity to provide an electric bulb, then adequate arrangements were also part of the plan.
Therefore, if all these criteria are part of the shed plan, there is no doubt that your plan review will be good just as my shed plans review was appreciated and recommended to all those who evinced an interest in building sheds.
